Remote monitoring of vessel GPS, AIS, Anemometer, ME RPM, DGs load and other few parameters that is essential for owners and operators to get updated with the vessel status by the click of the button. It can record and play back information for vessel as well for offices. The dash boards can be installed in ship local network so that all this information can be seen by Capt. Office, CE Office, ECR, CCR and so on. Display in ECR very useful for Engineering officers to know about the vessel status while vessel birthing, un-birthing and during critical passage maneuvering. This proves to be very useful for Capt. While he is in his office to know the key parameters and vessel situation, especially during his off hours and during critical passage. For the office, it is very vital information to know vessel movement and birthing program and Bunkering operations as we can see the AIS data of the ships around to determine port operations. The most important use case is to play back the vessel moment in order to record timings for incident reporting and so on for maintaining records.
VESSEL AND OFFICE DASHBOARD :
How is this done?
We can setup all devices test and send to vessel along with all required installation materials to vessel and guide the ship crew to install, all are 100% in-house hence, it is easy for WES Marine to deal and execute it. If the same data needs to be monitored from shore office by the vessel owner and managers, we have to see what connectivity exist on board like VSAT or if coastal vessel probably local 3G connectivity and so on. Using VSAT or local 3G connectivity we can make the data available at offices.
How much does this cost?
Design, drawings, supply of devices, installation materials etc estimated to be around 2 to 3K USD, Connectivity to office basis on what is available on board which need to look into it. If VSAT, need to approach VSAT vendor to provide static IP or port forwarding and so on. if we use coastal mobile network, we must opt for DDNS service.
